Dads Are the Best.

Happy Father's Day weekend to the most incredible dads I have ever known.

So blessed by each of these godly men who have been true examples of our Father's love for us.

In Memoriam

This morning we all went to visit the grave-site of Daniel's dad.

Daniel and I talk to Aubrey about her "Granddad" all the time and try to explain that he lives in Heaven. We had never taken her to his grave-site until today.

To be so young, with no true understanding of death, her response was truly a memorable one.

She went right up to his gravestone and then immediately dashed off. She raced passed all the flowers on the other memorials and found what she was searching for: the perfect flower for her Granddad.

Once she found her favorite dandelion, she brought it back to his gravestone and laid it sweetly down.

Just as we were about to leave, Aubrey ran back, bent down, and kissed the stone.

I don't think any of us will forget this day or the precious legacy that is continuing to be passed down through generations.

"Mender of the Broken"

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.
