2...and a HALF

Aubrey is over halfway to the big 3!

She just looks older/more mature, doesn't she?!

There are days when I feel like I can literally see her morphing into a little girl.

Maybe it's the pigtails.

Every now and then, I can still see that sweet, baby-face...

But there's no denying she is growing up.

I feel like she'll be driving before I know it...

Her love for accessories/jewelry is budding.
And she has discovered the drawers in my jewelry box...
{Unfortunately, two of my bracelets have met their demise because this.}

Her favorite game right now is hide-and-seek.
It takes everything in me to not bust out laughing when I "find" her.

The girl has ridiculous gardening skills.
This is the flower she planted before her 2nd birthday.
This little pansy has survived scorching heat, 2 blizzards, and no watering.
It's the only living thing in our flowerbed.

Despite her undeniable green thumb, she still LOVES her dandelions.

"Why?" is what I hear All. Day.
Every. Day.

If she's not asking "Why?", she is in her own little world just singing away.
There is usually dancing involved too.

She has a best friend.
It's incredibly cute to watch them play and listen to their "girl talk".

While there are definitely some "Terrible Two" moments...
this age is shaping up to be my favorite stage so far.

My oh my, I love this munchkin more every day...

And, as Aubrey likes to say, "Adios, Alligators!"
