Then, while we were in Cincinnati we did go to a Bengals game once, but I wouldn't say we were true "fans".
For some reason, however, the minute we crossed the Oklahoma state line it seemed as if we became instant OU fans. Daniel works at OU Medical Center so...it just kinda happened that way.
Now, I am one of those girls who says she's an OU football fan but has NO clue about the actual team.
No, wait...I take that back. I know the QB Landry Jones because he has the same number (#12) as I did back in my old soccer glory days. There. I'm not a total football phony.
But honestly, I love OU football because of the excuse it gives me to get together with friends and game-day grub.
And with a monstrous rivalry game like OU vs. Texas, you can't just sit at home and watch it alone.

Aubrey seems to have some inner football player in her.
Just look at her hug the line...
Just look at her hug the line...
By the way, Daniel has been working nights so he was asleep during all the festivities, but us girls sure had fun cheering on our team!
Oh yeah...
BOOMER SOONER!
