6 Month Check-up

Today was Aubrey's 6 month check-up, which meant 4 shots. Boo! Luckily, Daniel was able to come with us (most of the time it's just me, and it's one of the worst experiences for all involved.)

So, here are Aubrey's stats:

Weight: 18 lbs. 5 oz. (90th percentile)
Height: 28 inches (off the charts)

We were told she's now officially too BIG for her infant car seat. I am beginning to think it's a bit inaccurate referring to her as "Little" Aubrey.

Here she is giving herself the check-up:
Say "Ahhhhhh!"
It's almost time for shots.
(And naptime...we coordinated that on purpose.)
Normally after the shots she's completely inconsolable. I'm talking non-stop screaming and wailing. When Daddy's there? Oh, it doesn't seem that bad! Now don't get me wrong, she was still pitiful, but she stopped crying immediately when Daniel scooped her up.

I guess it's true...Daddies make everything better. Even shots.

Sweet Baby Aubrey

Aubrey is starting to really show off her personality. From what I can tell being with this baby girl every day, all day is that she's everything.

She's beautiful, quirky, smart, dainty, serious, hilarious, gentle, feisty, lovable, shy, goofy, and just down right wonderful.
